CDB Lacquer Easter Collection Swatches and Review

Greetings and Nailutations!

*Blogger Package*
Today I have a fun Easter Morning collection from CDB Lacquer, which contains 6 polishes (4 glitter crellies and 2 textured polishes).  This collection brought back memories of going on egg hunts, donning Easter bonnets and eating the treat that lasts a life time…PEEPS!  Enjoy the swatches and the trip back to childhood.

First up is Speckled Egg which is a a sweet light pink crelly with neon pink medium hexes, yellow and iradescent small hexes and purple micro glitter.  This polish reminded me of candy eggs.  Photos show accent nail glitter placement, 2 coats of the lacquer with 1 coat of shiny top coat.

Keeping with the candy theme, next is Peeps!  Just like the sugar coated marshmallow treats, this polish gives a textural feel of yellow sugar on your nails.  A yellow crelly, filled with yellow micro glitter and ultra fine white glitters, I opted for a shiny top coat (since texture isn't my strong suit).  Photos show it much more brighter than it is in real life, which appears a light pastel yellow.  I attempted to draw a peep, but realized they only have 3 dots making 2 eyes and a nose!  Haha

Next is one my favorites of the Easter Morning Collection, which is Easter Bonnet!  I am a sucker for purples.  This purple crelly with purple holo and dark purple micro glitter applies beautifully.  I added some yellow flowers with a stamp, which were so often seen on our Easter bonnets as children to the accent nail.  Photos below show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

You can't have Easter without the bunny right?  Next up is Cotton Tail, a soft light blue crelly filled with white and dark blue small hexes and ultra fine rainbow shifting glitters (rainbow dust!).   Photos show 2 coats and matte top coat, because aren't bunny tails soft?  Psst, I stole a cotton tail!

The second textural polish is called Easter Egg Hunt.  It is a pleasant green with micro matte green glitters and ultra fine rainbow shifting glitters (rainbow dust!) .  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.  Apologies for not capturing the texture well.  Accent nail is double stamping an egg design.

Lastly, another favorite of mine is Bunny Ears.  It is a shimmery light pink crelly with iridescent glitter and ultra fine rainbow shifting glitters (rainbow dust!).   Formula was great and photos show 2 coats, with shiny top coat and 3 pearly additions creating a bunny head.

Loves: CDB Lacquer has branched out of glitter toppers and is making a mark with crellies and textures.  She creating fun combinations that connect with the end customer and left me smiling and enjoying the trip down memory lane.  All CDB Lacquers are 5-free, so they don't contain 5 of the nasties that can be in nail polish.

Wishes: I wish I could have shown the texture better.

To purchase any of these polishes or the entire collection head to CDB Lacquer's online store.  They will be available March 28th.  Follow CDB Lacquer on Instagram as well @cdblacquer.

Happy Polishing,
