Drip Drop Nail Paint New Releases March Swatch and Review Part 2

Greetings and Nailutations!

*Blogger Package*
Today I have the rest of the new releases from Drip Drop Nail Paint.  As with all Drip Drop Nail Paint polishes they are 3-free and have creamy formula.  Currently all of these polishes are available and in stock.

Now let's get to some swatches.

First up is Funky Finds, a deep forest green with silver micro flecks.  This color is absolutely stunning.  I love the darkness of the green and the silver little micro glitters that pop in the light.  Formula was creamy and went on smooth.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat in filtered light (1st photo) and simulated sunlight (2nd and 3rd photos).

Next is a polish that may seem familiar, it is called Pink Stairway.  It resembles Stairway To Heaven, but has a pink base instead of a white base.  Pink Stairway is a pink creme with gold and pink holographic small hexes and white matte circles.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The last new release and my absolute favorite of all of them is called Restore the Classics.  Restore the Classics is a purple creme filled with blue and purple micro flecks.  It's so rich and full of depth!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Top Coat:  Gem Glam Top Coat from My Dream Polish

Loves:  My favorite favorite favorite is Restore The Classics...ugh!  I wish I could drink it!  Or paint my car with it!  And an added plus is that all Drip Drop Nail Paint polishes are also 3-free so it does not contain 3 of the harsh chemicals that polish can contain.

Wishes:  More cremes with flecks!!  Seriously, Restore The Classics is like magic in a bottle!

Drip Drop Nail Paint New Releases March Swatch and Review Part 1

Greetings and Nailutations!

*Blogger Package*
Today I have the first part of some new releases from Drip Drop Nail Paint.  As with all Drip Drop Nail Paint polishes they are 3-free and have creamy formula.  Currently all of these polishes are available and in stock.

Now let's get to some swatches.

First up is Snazzy Jazzy, a creamy deep pink that contains gold micro glitter.  Out of these three, this is my favorite.  The gold micro glitter adds dimension and depth to the pink.  The formula was perfect as with all Drip Drop Nail Paint polishes and applied easily with its self leveling properties.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Next is a colorful and fun glitter topper called Tie-Dyed Butterfly.  Tie-Dyed Butterfly contains neon pink, yellow and green squares and hexes, neon blue hexes and shards, and white hexes.  The glitters are in a few sizes and are a mix of holographic and matte glitter.  Photos show 1 coat dabbed on over Jenna Hipp's I Cast a Spell On Blue topped with a shiny top coat.

The last new release is a light green creme with blue shimmer.  Formula was easy to work with and applied like buttah!  The color reminded me of the leaves of an oak tree.  And the shimmer added the look of morning mist or dew from the coolness of spring!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (3rd coat in simulated sunlight).

Top Coat:  Gem Glam Top Coat from My Dream Polish

Loves:  My favorite is Snazzy Jazzy, but I love the brightness and color palette of Tie-Dyed Butterfly as well.   And an added plus is that all Drip Drop Nail Paint polishes are also 3-free so it does not contain 3 of the harsh chemicals that polish can contain.

Wishes:  I liked seeing the balance of shimmer in another color to compliment Tree Hugger.  I would love to see more cremes with hidden shimmer!

3 Empties: CoCo Base Coat, Gem Glam Top Coat Lavender and TBD

Greetings and Nailutations,

It's another installment of 3 empties, where I review 3 products I have used up and express my opinion on how well they worked, how well they smelled, their packaging and if I'd make a repeat purchase.

First product I used up is CoCo Nail Lacquer's Milky Base Coat.  I first used this base coat upon initially receiving it as a press sample.  I like that it's fast drying and has a white tint, because this helps hide visible nail line with lighter more sheer polishes.  I loved wearing it alone as well.

Smell Test: Smells like polish!
Feel Test:  Loved how this looked on my nails alone and under polish.  Worked great.
Packaging Test:  I like the clear labeling so that I can see how much of the product I have left.
Buy Again:  Yes!  But I'm not sure it's offered anymore.  Sorry for the teasing

I also emptied my Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish in the scent of Lavender.  As previously mentioned, Gem Glam for me is shiny, fast drying and always goes on smooth.  This is my go to top coat.

Smell Test:  Lavender scent is floral and soft, almost 'soapy' smelling.  It was pleasant, but I prefer Summer Melon, Pink Sugar and Peach over it.
Feel or Look Test: Shiny, applies easily
Packaging:  Best part of the packaging is the nice wide brush
Buy Again: Yes yes, but would probably pass on this scent!  Bought the new spring scents to test them out!

The last product for this post is a bath bomb from Fortune Cookie Soap Company.  To be honest, Fortune Cookie Soap Company is my new OBSESSION!  I bought the winter box last year and I loved some of the products so much, I ordered more products in the scents I liked.  This bath bomb is in a scent I loved.  The bath bomb was a blue star and called I Pledge Allegiance, Amen! (product scents for the winter box were inspired by the National Lapoon's Christmas Vacation movie).  What I loved best....the blue did NOT cause staining in the tub!  WOO HOO!  Less cleaning after a relaxing bath is ALWAYS good.

Smell Test: clean crisp, I like this scent in the bath bomb and the shower steamers best.
Feel or Look Test: Dissolved easily and didn't stain the tub!
Packaging: Came in a labeled wax bag.
Buy Again: YES, but this scent isn't carried anymore since it was just for the winter box.  But, the winter box is what made me fall in love with Fortune Cookie Soap Company.

Have you tried any of these products?  Did you have similar or different experiences than I did?

Born Pretty Store Mixed Abstract Patterns Nail Art Stamping Plate Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Sample*
Today I will be sharing a product that I received from Born Pretty Store, which is an online store that sells nail art supplies, tools, polish, decals, and even home goods and clothes!  Born Pretty carries affordable products and you can purchase in bulk as well.

The product I am reviewing today is the Mixed Abstract Patterns Nail Art Stamp Template Image BP28 Plate (item: 17911).  It contains 4 designs that are floral and whimsical.  It is shown on the far right in the image below.  All plates from Born Pretty Store arrive with a blue protective film.  It is easily peeled off to reveal the images etched into the plate.

Now let's get to some manis!

First up I used a whimsical design on the plate.  The base is Costume Jewelry and it is stamped with Tighty Whites both from Drip Drop Nail Paint topped with a shiny top coat.  The image picked up perfectly and provided clear lines with no issues.

Next is the floral design, which I placed over Exotic Lacquers Original Sin using Drip Drop Nail Paint Yoga Pants topped with shiny top coat.  The plate provided clean image pick up and placement.  This is my favorite image on the plate.

Next is the abstract image on the plate which also picked up perfectly, and even had small circles.  In my previous experience with plates only high quality plates will pick up them up.  In this mani I used Exotic Lacquers Purple Haze from Exotic Lacquers and stamped with Yoga Pants from Drip Drop Nail Paint and topped with a shiny top coat.

The last images is another whimsical design which has a lot of small dimensional shapes which also picked up perfectly.  I used Exotic Lacquers Twister as the base and stamped with Jenna Hipp We Are Mint To Be and topped with a shiny top coat.

Shiny Top Coat:  Gloss It from Krafty Gurl Designs and Gem Glam Top Coat from www.DreamPolish.com

Loves:  Love that each image picked up and transferred to my nails perfectly.  Even the small dimension images and shapes had no issues.  I also liked the size of the images, it didn't leave any part of my nail absent of an image.  All products from Born Pretty Store are super affordable as well.

Wishes:  Very pleased with this plate!  Great images!  I look forward to other BPS plates.

GG Indie Polish Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Sample*
Today I have five polishes from GG Indie Polish (GG = Green Glitter) to share.  They aren't part of any particular collection and they are a diverse set of polishes in both color and finish.  GG Indie Polish ships world wide and is 5 free, so they don't contain any of the 5 nasties that can be found in some polishes.

Now let's get to some swatches!

First up is Girl On Fire, a fiery chrome polish that shifts from yellow/gold to orange.  Girl On Fire resembles bronze on your fingertips!  It also contains red micro glitters that give it that little something extra.  Photos show 2 coats in filtered light (1st, 2nd and 4th photos) and simulated sunlight (3rd and 5th photos).

Next is Strawberry Fields Forever, a soft glitter crelly.  Strawberry Fields Forever is light pink crelly-jelly formula with red holographic micro hexes and flakes as well as matte red squares.  As soon as I saw this polish, I knew it had to be mattified!  Photos show 2 coats with no glitter fishing with shiny top coat (1st and 2nd photos) and matte top coat (3rd, 4th and 5th photos).

Pink Champagne Supernova is the next polish I swatched.  It is a neutral shade of pink infused with blue, purple and pink iridescent shimmer that really sparkles in the light.  Photos show 2 coats and shiny top coat in filtered light (1st, 3rd and 4t photos) and simulated sunlight (2nd and 5th photos).

My favorite of the 5 that I received is Aura, a gorgeous chromatic polish that shifts pinky-purple to blue.  This polish is amazing.  Photos show 2 coats in filtered light (1st, 2nd and 4th photos) and simulated sunlight (3rd photo).

The last polish I have to share is a glitter topper called Get Lit.  Get Lit contains blue and purple small micro glitter that looks AMAZING over a dark color.  Photos below show 2 coats dabbed on over Yoga Pants from Drip Drop Nail Paint with shiny top coat in filtered light.

Shiny Top Coat: Gem Glam Top Coat from www.dreampolish.com

Loves:  I love that these polishes were all different finishes and Bobbie from GG Indie Polish has perfected the formula on all.  I love that these polishes are so different and fun, there is something for everyone.  All GG Indie Polish products are 5-free so they don't contain 5 of the harsh chemicals that can be found in polish.

Wishes:  Oooh, these were all great, I wish to see more chromial (is that a word?) type polishes from GG Indie Polish.  The depth and complexity of Aura and Girl on Fire are amazing.

Which one is your favorite?  I think Aura and Girl on Fire has turned me into a chrome lover!
