Envy Lacquer Seven Sins Of Summer Collection Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

Hello Summer!  It is officially the summer and with it comes warm temps and bright colors!  Today I'll be sharing the Seven Sins of Summer Collection from Envy Lacquer.  The Seven Sins Of Summer Collection contains 7 neons with a bonus glitter bomb!

Now let's get to some swatches!

The first sin is Wrath.  What color do you think of for Wrath?  I'm so angry I am seeing....RED!  Wrath is a neon red cream with some gorgeous gold shimmer and gold micro flakies.  This polish is absolutely stunning in the daylight bulb.  Formula applied easily.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Next is Glutton, a neon orange crelly.  This one was slightly less opaque and needed 3 coats to conceal the visible nail line.  Glutton contains gold micro flakies.  The initial polish I was sent was a little on the thick side and thickened even more as I left the lid loose while swatching it.  Melody (owner of Envy) sent a new one to replace even before I said anything.  The coolest part of this polish is that it is black light reactive!  Photos show 3 coats for total opacity with shiny top coat.

Greed is the next polish and it is a neon yellow with yellow shimmer and yellow-green-blue iridescent micro flakies.  Formula worked great for me on this polish.  Greed also played nicely with the black light.  Photos show 3 coats for total opacity with shiny top coat.

Then of course we have the name sake polish of Envy Lacquer....Evny.  Envy is a neon green with yellow shimmer and light yellow micro flakies.  Formula was perfect and applied easily.  Envy is also black light reactive.  Photos show 3 coats with shiny top coat.

Sloth is next and the only polish I would say isn't a true neon.  It is a bright periwinkle creme polish with purple shimmer and micro flakies.  Formula was smooth and almost self leveling on this polish.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Lust is a bright neon royal blue creme with turquoise shimmer.  The formula on Lust was absolute perfection.  This polish is stunning.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The last sin polish is Pride...a neon purple creme.  Pride contains light pink shimmer and lavender micro flakies.  I am a sucker for purple, so I would have to say this is one of my favorite of the collection.  Formula was easy to work with and photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The last polish is a glitter bomb called Sinful Summer.  Sinful Summer contains a rainbow of small holographic hexes, silver holographic squares and large hexes.  This polish works perfect as a glitter for a gradient and also on it's own.  Photos show 2 coats dabbed on with 1 additional coat sponged on and shiny top coat.

Shiny Top Coat: Gem Glam Top Coat from www.dreampolish.com in the scent of Clovers and Dirt

Loves: I love that this collection stands out on its own, especially with all the neon collections out there during the summer.  The theme, the use of shimmer and micro-flakies show creativity and originality.  I love the formula and reformulated Glutton.  I also love that

Wishes: oooh, the collection is great as it is, I wouldn't change a thing!  (But I would love a black, grey and white with the little shimmer and flakies like this collection.)

Which are your favorites?
